The UniFi 6 series is Ubiquiti’s next‐generation line of WiFi 6 (802.11ax) access points under the UniFi ecosystem. These are designed for both enterprise and advanced home/office deployments, incorporating modern WiFi features (higher throughput, better multi-user support, improved efficiency) and built to be managed via the UniFi Network Controller.
Depending on the model (Lite, Long-Range, Pro, Enterprise, Mesh etc) you get different performance and features.

Key Features

Here are some of the standout features of the UniFi 6 series:

• WiFi 6 (802.11ax) support — improved throughput, efficiency, and device density handling.

• Dual-band (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) in most models, some higher end support more streams. For example one model supports “up to 4×4 on 5GHz” in some cases.

• High aggregate data rates: e.g., one of the Pro models is listed as “up to 4.8 Gbps throughput over the 4×4 5GHz channel” and “up to 573.5 Mbps on 2.4GHz” in some cases.

• Built-in spectral analysis / interference scanning: UniFi APs continuously monitor the environment for RF interference and can help optimise performance.

• Seamless integration into the UniFi ecosystem: managed via the UniFi Network Controller, and integrates with other UniFi devices (switches, gateways, etc).
